Texas Association of Accident Reconstruction Specialists

 

This is a 3-part registration:

1) This page of information;

2) Liability Release Form;

3) Conference registration form. 

With regard to the Liability Release form, everyone has heard the old saying, "go ahead and sign it, because it isn't worth the paper it is written on."  Not in Texas.  The Texas Supreme Court has ruled liability release forms are legal and binding documents if they are presented in a serious and forthright manner.  You are hereby assured, all the co-hosting organizations, and their officers, take this form very seriously and you should also.

If you use the on-line registration form, which we hope you do, you may print, sign and mail the release form to Michael Yosko at the address listed below.  Or, you may print, sign and bring it with you to the conference check-in.  Or, at check-in, you will be presented with a release form to sign.

A current Liability Release form MUST be on file.

For those who must pay by check, the on-line registration form is designed to be completed on-line, printed and mailed, along with the Liability Release form to Michael Yosko.   If you must pay by check, make the check payable to TAARS.

For those using the on-line registration and paying with a credit card:
1st: If you live in the NE, where zip codes start with a "0", in the zip code field hit the space bar one time then enter the last four digits of your zip code (the world famous programmer who designed the registration page used a validation code requiring the first number to be between 1 & 9).
2nd: TAARS no longer accepts American Express card
3rd: After completing all required fields, click the "Submit" button one time only.

If, for any reason, you feel the registration form was not transmitted, STOP, (do not click the Submit icon a second or third time) and telephone Michael Yosko: 409-718-0264, or Larry Self: 469-323-1099.  They have the capability to check the database and verify whether your registration was transmitted successfully. 

Conference fee & available discounts

1. At-door fee: Registration & fee rec'd between Sept 1 & 17: $700.00
2. Early fee: Registration & fee rec'd between August 1 & Sept 1: $550.00
3. Early-early fee: Registration & fee rec'd between June 1 & August 1: $500.00
4. Really-really-early fee: Registration & fee rec'd prior to June 1: $425.00
5. Any entity (governmental or private) that registers 5 or more attendees at one time, may deduct $25.00 per person from the registration fee applicable at the time the registration and fee are received.
6. SPECIAL DISCOUNT: A member of a co-sponsoring organization who attends the conference may "sponsor" a person who is a non-member and the non-member may attend at the "Really-really-early" fee of $425.00, regardless of when the non-member registers.

PO #'s will be accepted with the following provisions:
(a) Registrations & PO #'s are received by June 1, 2006
(b) Issuer guarantees payment of PO by August 1, 2006

Continental breakfast on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday;
Box lunch on Monday and catered lunch on Tuesday & Wednesday;
Catered evening meal on Wednesday;
Mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks;
Conference material and test results.
