I graduated from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX with at bachelor in Business Administration. I've been with Arlington Police Department since 2011 where I worked patrol until 2017. Since fall 2017 I have been in the Crash Investigation Unit, which is a full-time unit tasked with working all fatal, life-threatening injury, felony hit and runs, and fleet crashes for the city. I hold a Master Peace Officer Certification, TCOLE Instructor Certification, and I teach Basic Collision Investigations and Traffic Stops at our police academy. In 2023 I began teaching Intermediate Collsion Investigations (in-house) to fellow APD Officers. Crash Investigation courses I have completed: Intermediate, Advanced, Reconstruction, CDR Specialist, Auto-Pedestrian, Energy Applications (CRUSH), and WREX2023.
