I began my law enforcement career with the Midland TX Police Department in August of 2000. I transferred to the Traffic division in 2010, where I discovered the world of collision reconstruction. I am still employed with MPD and hold a Master Peace Officer license.

I am a TCOLE instructor and currently the traffic law instructor at the Permian Basin Law Enforcement Academy. As an instructor for PBLEA I have previously taught Firearms, Use of Force, and Basic Crash Investigation.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Texas Permian Basin and am an ACTAR certified crash reconstructionist. While employed with MPD I created a consulting company, Forensic Collision Investigation, LLC. I joined TAARS in 2015 and was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2018.
